I love to sim in between crying spells. The nice thing is that while one of us is stuck holding her... the other can sim. I can taunt her about the evil things I will do to her sims while she can't stop me!!!! (evil laugh) $\;\)$ I believe I owe her some alien abductions. She did that to my family with a hacked telescope I had.. the only problem is both the parents got abducted!!!! I had to age the toddler to a teen REALLY quick!! It was funny but I owe her. $\:D$

Thank you for all the compimnets! She is a blessing. Sometimes it is a little exhausting but she is worth it. At least when she has her hip surgery Karen will be here!!! YEAH! She comes in 2 days before her surgery. My hubby will pick her up in Nashville on the 23rd and I will haul her back to Nashville on the 25th!! She is not a morning person and it will be interesting. We have to leave here by 4 a.m.!!! I'm not exactly thrilled with it but that's what we have to do. Thank goodness we will have Karen's laptop. I will get to SIM while I am there!!! I get so bored usually. I will also have someone to help hold and comfort Arianna. That will be nice too! You have a great weekend!! $\:D$

I'm ok, I'm sorry you've had a bad week $\:\($ If only life was as simple as the sims, I haven't done much this week, I've been ill for the last couple of days, I think I poisoned myself on our picnic on wednesday, although Martin has been fine, so maybe he's trying to bump me off for the insurance money $\:P$

So far we are good. She can get an infection or have problems with the shunt for up to a month. We have a couple weeks more and then all will be well. I have yet to see a tornado and don't want to. I don't think I have ever experienced hurricane force winds either. I doubt I want that! I fear tornados around here. How are you doing? $\:D$

Twinkletoe, thanks for the great comment on my bathroom set. I'm still working on the cabinet for sink that goes into the cabinet. It's close to be done, but I had to take time to do the TC 100 Texture Challenge. I know the busy thing, I've been repairing my porch, and washing the house, so I can paint them. Hi Twinkletoe, your screen shots are gorgeous, I think they have a theme in mind when making a decision on the featured shot, it seems to be a summer fun theme at the moment, as all the latest pictures have summer and vacation in common. My pictures were taken at the mountain in Cape Town at the Atlantic side of South Africa. Cape Town is a beautiful city with Table Mountain and beautiful beaches. The current government is cutting down the forest as the pine trees is not indigenous, much to my dismay! These trees are so old and provide so much to the atmosphere of Cape Town. I'll post a picture of Table Mountain later, maybe you've seen it before as it is a well known landmark. It was nice to hear from you, please keep in touch. Take care. Amelda

Hiya, how's you? It was a public holiday here yesterday so we took a drive into the mountains to look at the greenery, we had a picnic and I took some pictures which I'll post in my blog soon, it was really lovely and very green, we drove down this track towards the sea, it was on the side of a mountain and the views where quite breathtaking (when you could see it through all the mist and clouds) at one point we were surrounded by trees and lush green grass and it felt like we'd driven into the Amazon Rainforest $\;\)$ I had a long lie in this morning as Martin went to a friends house for a boys booze night then at 2.15am I got a phone call from a drunken burbling idiot asking to be picked up cause he couldn't find a taxi, I had to drive out into the desert a little to his friends house, it was pitch black, misty and raining and suddenly this idiot jumped out in front of the car waving his hands in the air laughing, I nearly ran the stupid so and so down, needless to say I wasn't very happy and cause he'd made me mad I didn't sleep to well either $\:o$ It's great that your daughter's learing to swim, tell her well done from me $\:wub\:$

Yes, were off to Wales on sat. could not believe my bad luck though, we will be just up the road from Janes and she will be down here near my place at 24/7s. I thought we could get together for a glass of something, never mind im looking forward to it, i have wanted to go there since i was 7 years old, i was going on my white stallion in those dreamy childhood days. $\:P$ cant imagine me doing that now, i dont even ride, i would get a sore butt trying. $\:P$
