Oh wow, you jumped from sims1 to 3 without playing 2, that must have felt very great. I haven't played sims1 at all. But I felt it was a pretty big step from 2 to 3. Are you gonna buy Adwntures when it come? I don't know if I like the idéa of traps and hidden graves and the other things, but I gonna have it and I think I gonna like it when I started to play. There gonna be so much other stuff I think I gonna love Have a nice day! //Caridina

Yeah I live on the coast but there is also a mountain just to the east of me; weather on the mountain......I still feel it, weather just off the coast.......I still feel it. :  And yup......we do get morning fog along the coasts.   Economy is lousy everywhere I think.  I get SSI (Supplimentary Security Income) basically a disability check (partially blind, partially parelyzed, + a brain injury......kinda hrad to find work),......and I keep getting cut after cut.  Oh sure it's only $20 here $30 there but that adds up.   Too bad Sims can't be a job.......at least it's one I can do literally at any time of day or night.   I can put it aside & go take a nap or just go lay down.......unless you're some sort of financial or computer wizard the chances of a job being THAT flexible are next to nill.    When I'm in tons of pain and/or doped up on meds & hardly have 2 working brain cells to rub together I just search for images on the net for walls with my earbuds shoved in my ears & my MP3 player cranked up.   If I have a few hundred to gather up then I can make some lots.  And for making the ACTUAL walls though......I need quite a few more.   But these are usually still doable.   It's making the collages & the final walls that take the brain cells......and I don't even think about story writing.  That ship done sailed off. :P  LOL  I've gone through Texas & broken down in Texas.......not that I didn't want to hang out in Texas.......we were just on a cross country trip and we didn't stay long in any state.  We went through when I was oh say about 12 or 13 & had lived in California for about 5 yrs or so by then; we had broken down so we in some cafe eating an early dinner when this guy sat down in the booth behind us (he was joining his friend who'd already sat down) & his hand was all bandaged up in gauze.  So the guy already sitting says "Shoo we......what'd ya do your hand Earl?"  And Earl Mummy hand says "Iza welden a dyke & for I knew it Iza done burnt up ma haind & melted the skin clear off!".  Um yeah being from CALIFORNIA I must say that word was always used in a COMPLETELY different context. LMAO  But originally I'm from Arizona.   Used to live out in the boonies of Arizona but both Mom & I have dust allergies so we came out here cuz of that + AZ I had to go to a school for the deaf & bind, in CA I was able to go to the regular schools & just have my materials in large print.  Oh & BTW there is an area of Off Topic chit chat called Disability Den; "The Den" is a lovely wheelchair accessable cave with climate controls.   Oh & more importaantly a bunch of other TSRians who just happen to have the rotten luck of being disabled or having a chronic illness.   We all use our Sims for pretty much the same things; live bicariously through them, keeping the mind busy keeps us from concentrating on how lousy our bodies feel, and of course the sims have brought us all together.   Well I'm off to find more textures for walls.   TTFN.   Take care.

Yeah when I was 14 we went out to dinner, I had a sing fall off & land on me; crushed my skull & dislocated a bunch of vertabra in my neck & back with one break at L2.  So winter is NOT my friend as I've developed arthrits in my whole spinal column C2 down......and what do ya know........C2 & down are where are the dislocations & the one break were at.   So I'm generally these days on pain killers of some kind almost all the time & if I'm not sleeping then I'm trying to keep my mind busy.  Which is where Sims come in.  I play a lot as well......BUT......I love to shove my earbuds in my ears & crank up the MP3 & build lots or now my newest addiction......walls.  I had been writing a story Matt & Jenny but I was having a heck of a time at the end making them so it was taking me forever just to do one chapter.......so when my computer died yet again & I lost them I took it as a sign that it was best to move on to something else.  I'd rather leave them as they are then do some 1/2 you know what........if things change then I can always recreate them.........it was mostly ME as the writer who made them who/what they were.  I know what you mean about weather messing with how you feel.  I'm not from where any REAL weather is at......thank God!  If I lived where it snowed I'd be stuck in my house 1/2 the year.......solid ground is one thing but wheelchairs sink in sand/mud/snow.  Besides.....I'm in bed most of winter anyway......and I'm just in California!   Our weather hasn't been too bad as far as what most of the people concider "adds up to weather".......for those of us with arthritis we all know that when there is a night time fog that means the day time although LOOKING nice......don't always feel as nice as it looks.  And EVERYONE I know of who has arthritis is getting the same memo from their bodies concerning the future weather........YUCKY!  So I end up taking lots of anti-nausea meds.......and THOSE make me sooooo dopey!  They're worse than the actual pain meds.  But people were really understanding when I was having trouble making the stories on account of me being in too much pain and/or too loopy to write.  Over-all SIM-ers vs. other on-line gaming communities are a pretty sweet bunch.  Well take care.
