This charming 2br 1bth EIK house holds a secret, for it is the home of The Borrowers, the little people responsible for running off with your missing watch and your long-lost set of keys and your misplaced left sock. But worry not; they're taking good care of it all--and it's only being borrowed. Honest! Inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's 2010 animated film The Secret World of Arrietty.
Again, I tried to stay loyal to the movie, but the one drastic change I made was having the entire Borrower's home be in the actual house, not underneath it, as Arrietty and her family lived underground, in a closet space in the human's house. If I kept Arrietty's house as a basement, I would have had to recreate the entire human's house aboveground, and I didn't feel like making two sets of kitchens/bedrooms/bathrooms, so I just moved everything upstairs. I DID add a basement level, with an entrance where the secret closet was supposed to be, but there's no real use for it. I added some extra rooms that I just made up, like the living room, bathroom, and such, but the rest of it's mostly entirely based on the film -- country charm shabby chic, with a faery/woodland elven touch.

I HAD to remove them from the lot because they were ballooning the file size enormously, but I strongly recommend using these wall tapestries I uploaded here: http://murfeelee.tumblr.com/post/96542101256/ornate-dump to grace the walls of the lot. I had 5 on the lot -- the moon and sun, one of the persian rugs, and both of the art nouveau posters. Just in case you're interested.

Made with fully patched game and WA, AMB, LN, SHT, SN, SSNS, and ITF installed, though I doubt I used CC from all those EPs. I used a lot of Store content, though, especially PC and Venue content -- I own all Venues and all Worlds Gold (except for Roaring Heights), so unless you want the game to replace the Store content with base game proxies you'll definitely need the PC Cow Corral, Spellbook, Gumball Machine, and Nautical Rocking Chair, as well as the Drifter's Desire set, Fab Fiesta set, Old Mill Set, Amore and Grandpa's Grove Venues, and the worlds Hidden Springs, Midnight Hollow, Dragon Valley, and Aurora Skies. I removed the Chicken Coop (and a ton of other stuff, *SIGH*), but I'd recommend that as well, to put next to the cow corral.
