Card tables should be out tomorrow. Pool tables will show up shortly. After all, a Sim has to play!

Thanks for the great reception to my bathroom. I wasn't sure if it was something other people would like or not.

I have a bedroom coming out before too long that is the same way. The colors are a bit bright for me, but I figure other people might like it, so why not?

I'm in the mood to create something classy. I'll have to work on that, since I don't seem to do that sort of thing too well. I've made several starts and I have several things that are half-finished. I'll let you know if I come up with something.

Thanks for voting on Anita's poll. The results surprised me. I've adjusted walls where I could appropriately. Hopefully you'll enjoy the results.

New Bathroom

I have a new bathroom coming out. You can see it in my Upcoming set pictures now. It'll be published on the 19th. I'm kind of excited about that because it's my first bathroom published as a room instead of piece by piece.

Lots of paintings and rugs in the future. It appears the overwhelming majority of people who votes in the poll on Anita's minisite want plain walls with crown molding and baseboards. I'll try to come up with some more of those for you. I have a lot of interesting crown molding designs in the works. Just need to get them made and loading into the game and packaged and uploaded and published. (Sounds harder than it is.) Plus I have lots of "different" walls and floors, too. Hope you'll like them, but we'll see.

The last two kitchens for the PMS kitchens are in Sea Green and Eggshell. They'll be out before too terribly long. Other various surprises are in store. Time for me to go to sleep. More later.

I asked my friend, Anita (aka atwa), to make a poll for me. I have lots of walls still hibernating and waiting to be awoken. But I wanted to get your opinion so I would know how best to proceed. Another Milestone!

Happy Birthday to me! I'm 49! My About page won't tell you, but I will. I'm very happy to have survived this long. One more year and I will have lived longer than my mom did, which I consider to be a major accomplishment! I took the day off work today and as soon as I get my very late children driven to school, the day is mine, mine, mine! Hope you enjoy your day too!

Well, maybe that's not the right word in a Sims world. 1 Million Downloads! Thanks to all of you who downloaded, thanked, commented, rated and everything. I really appreciate all of you who have given me such encouragement. It's so great when people tell me they like my stuff! (But please let me know if something is wrong with it!) The Big M

Well, I hope everyone got their new toilets. Seems like this blog doesn't have many fans. Comes from being a rather boring person, I guess. ! ! ! Toilet Crisis ! ! !

Well, maybe crisis is a little strong. My NK PI Toilets were the first toilets I ever recolored. I was very happy that so many people wanted to download them. All I ever heard was positive things about them. I put them in my game and had a look at them before uploading them and they looked fine. What I didn't count on was the male factor. I don't play the game that much these days or I would have caught this sooner. I was playing a Sim who lives alone, but has two toilets in one of his bathrooms. (Don't ask me why.) Either he left the lid up or the maid did. And I saw the monstrous thing below. (Obviously, the pink toilet is the bad file and the blue one is the repaired one.) Why did none of you tell me? I could have fixed this much sooner. Anyway, all 20 toilets are in better shape now and you can download the revised version from the same places. I apologize for my ignorance, but at least I know now! Thanks for your support!

That Didn't Last Long

I tried the new red mini-site color and I lasted about 20 minutes with it til my eyes were screaming at me, so I'm back to the old color. I wanted to leave it up through the holidays, but my peepers are old and picky.

I've had a really productive morning this morning. I got most of my sets-in-waiting uploaded finally, so now I have all that out of my face and can concentrate on other things.

Latest Project

Errr. I spent last night paging through 55 pages of rugs. I had so many images that I was saving for rugs. I kept thinking maybe one day I'd build a room around them. Then I realized that I would be much older and grayer by the time I got around to that many rooms. So I decided to go ahead and make the rugs that I had. But first, I had to make sure no one else had used the same designs. So, page after page, turn, turn. After a while, oriental carpet designs tend to all blur into one. It was worth it though. I found one image I had that had already been made into a beautiful rug by an FA back in July 2005. So now that person won't think I copied their work. Everything else checked out though, so there will be maybe 4 or 5 sets of 5 or 6 carpets coming out in the future. And I won't have to stare at them any more. And maybe some day I will make a nice room using some of them, but you'll have them to play with in the mean time. **Yawn** Really should sleep occasionally.

Anyway, there will be some basic Oriental designs, some real-life picture types, some geometrics and some other types. Your Sims will have very warm toes.

Moving Along

Bathrooms are in full motion. There should be enough to make a whole bathroom now. Just lacking the decorative stuff. I have some more walls and floors coming for the bathroom shortly too. I think you'll like them.

I also have a whole bathroom set to release that is different from the regular 20 shades. And a really weird bedroom.

Recently I realized that I haven't done any Grilled Cheese Masterpieces in quite some time, so I have done / am doing 5 to 6 sets of 8 to keep your Sims' walls pretty. I tried to get pictures/frames that would go with the 20 shades since you have all that wall space to fill now.

There are a few other sets of items in the 20 shades in the works as well. And I have some simple dining rooms I'm working on too. And so many more walls and floors that I can't even count them all. And more curtains. So even if I totally ran out of inspiration today, I'd have enough to do for the next six months just finishing what I've started. Well, I'm tired and babbling. I'll talk more later when I'm rational.
