Cutting Corners may be it's name, but there was no cutting corners in the presentation of this lovely little 3-storey, 3-bedroom beachside home. It combines the convenience of modern living with the deep comforts of country - but without the 'aw shucks! yee hah!' aspects.
It is also almost literally 'on the beach' with the water just a few steps away across the main road. Perfect location for the angling family, for simply splashing in the salty shallows or for sunny days collecting seashells and building sandcastles.
The triangular front entry is warm and welcoming, with hanging space for coats and hats. An archway leads directly into the main living area, which has an abundance of seating, as well as TV, corner library and a small wet bar. Another arch opens into the combined space that is the diningroom and kitchen . . and then to the hallway with access to the downstairs bathroom, the study and the elevator.
The second level is home to 3 bedrooms. The master suite has an ensuite bath, as well as a small, glassed-in sunroom and is separated from the other rooms by a wide hallway, at the end of which is a narrow,window-lined artists 'retreat', complete with facilities for hand washing as required. The second bedroom, a double - and the third - a twin bunk single- share the second bathroom on this floor.
The sole 'resident' of the top level is a well-lit, fully-equipped billiards room. Matchplay games here are likely to become a regular event.
The exterior is landscaped and includes a very adequate pool, complete with a rose bedecked waterfall feature.There is plenty of lounger seating around the pool as well as a little bistro-style table under a sunshade. Adjacent to this area is a sandpit complete with slide and a pair of spring ride toys.
Finally, there is off-street, gated parking for a single vehicle.
Cutting Corners was created on a 30x20 lot at 3 Sun Song Avenue - right opposite the beach amenities.

Cutting Corners is a marcorse original work and is base game compatible. You may not re-upload it anywhere, use it as a template to build a lot for upload or claim it as your own work [you may do anything you like with it, within your own game LOL] .
I have all EPs/SPs [up to and including Island Paradise] installed on my base-game; my game is fully patched and I have run TSR's Rigfix on all files in this build. Any custom content requiring a specific EP/SP will be replaced with a comparable, game default item if you do not have the expansion/stuff pack installed.
Such instances will not affect installation and play for Cutting Corners.
