The house is a perfect retreat if it was possible to have the Bed and Breakfast option in game. Since the option is not there, it will do perfectly as a family home. With 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and loads of nooks and crannies to explore, this house is suited for a big family. If you like it to be the odd lady's house with the zillion cats, it will do fine too.

I checked the Extension packs needed for this lot to work. I did not use the Stuff packs, although I have installed them on my computer. The name of the lot has the word Cottonwood in it. Now, those trees came with Pets. It might be some patterns don't show up. I found that the foundation and chimney pattern was not there, and you can either replace it (the pattern should be in brick pattern section) or download it from Ayyuff. http://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/1094642

The lot was built and exported from Appaloosa Plains, 19445 Bob-o-Link Drive to be precise. Of course you can place it on any 40x30 lot or bigger.
A few items are not from TSR. The beautiful ceiling light from LunasimsLulamai, their site is unfortunately unavailable. Also, I love these: The niche under the stairs is from set Boston by Mangosims: http://mangosims2.free.fr/
