Hudson Place
I've decided to do a series of lots which all look similar and so can be placed to create a little mini suburb in your neighbourhoods.First up is Hudson Place, which has three houses and a grocery store. The houses are all two bedroom but vary in footprint size and can be remodeled with ease.
They are all decorated but have been left unfurnished for you to add your own style.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Just a quick note to wish everyone at TSR a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.Hope the new year brings everything you wish for to you and your loved ones and that the festive season is full of joy and love.
Still Alive!
I am still alive and creating stuff. I've volunteered for the Secret Stanta- http://forums.thesimsresource.com/showthread.php?t=345736 -
that Moza is running in the TSR Forums so I've been busy making some special lots and some Christmas wallpaper for whoever I get to make a present for.
They're all little ones which will come unfurnished to let the recipient fill out their home in their own style.
I've also been making some new wallpapers and I've finally got myself a new copy of Sim City 4 Deluxe so I might try making some new templates for neighbourhoods as well.
Other than that, life is same as normal :)
Wallpaper
I branched out a bit. I've started to make some wallpaper sets, mostly for lounge and dining areas but there is a set of girlie pink and purple that would work in bedrooms. Here's a sneak at one of the wallpapers from the Paisley Perfection set.The Big House
Well, here's the big house in all its glory :) It has extensive landscaping, a big swimming pool, sun porch, greenhouse, three bedrooms, two upstairs bathrooms and a downstairs half bath. There's a large kitchen and separate dining room, plus a luxury lounge with twin fireplaces to keep you warm.Urk
Whoops, haven't added anything here for ages so I thought I best have a quick update and let anyone whose interested know what I've been up to.Life's been a bit hectic just lately so I've not has as much time for the Simmies as normal. But, I have a load of houses stacked away just waiting for me to get round to uploading them, which should be soon.
Some of the lots I've been working on are little starter homes to give people some variety when just creating a Sim family and they'll be the ones I get uploaded first.
I've also done a set of three houses. Well technically it's the same house - a redo of the Maxis Bon Voyage Vacation Home - but in a decorated only, a part furnished and a fully furnished option so you can choose which one you'd like depending on the price.
Coastal Lots
Well, following the trend, I've made a coastal lot. It's a home business sat out in the sea with an outdoor pool and lots of fun objects downstairs. Instead of a shop though, it's more of an arcade style business. People can dance to the DJ, play the games machines, cook themselves up some burgers and sit out on the patio and enjoy the view. Upstairs is a one bedroom apartment with nice sea views.Lots of lots!
I've just used the new beta submissions system to upload a great big pile of lots that I'd built but hadn't got round to doing anything with yet.I'm now going through the list and sorting them out one by one so expect a lot of lots from me very shortly.
There's a real mix from starters through to some larger and more elaborate homes.
Most are fully decorated and furnished and all contain Maxis only content. I've also been using Numenor's Base Game Starter program to make some lots which only require the base game or expansions up to Nightlife.
Working on various things
Well, I removed all my downloads, some 35,000 of them and started again because I just could never find what I wanted to use.Having started creating things with just Maxis objects so that everyone can download them, I discovered that I was getting really picky about the custom content I wanted in my own game.
Now, I've got around 18,000 items and that suits me, including a lot of historical things that I use in a special neighbourhood that I've built which I'm trying to do a Legacy Prosper Over Time type challenge in.
As for the rest, I'm working on some dingy themed lots for my historical hood which will probably fit quite nicely into the Haunted Hollow theme so they'll be uploaded for there.
I'm also working on a couple of Build A Lot challenges from that forum and I'm off playing Lord of the Rings Online when I'm not Simming, so life is pretty busy at the moment.
Ooops
I am here honest :)Haven't updated the blog for a while, I've been a busy girlie just lately. Started playing Lord of the Rings Online and so I'm off journeying in Middle Earth a lot at the moment.
Anyways, back to the Sims 2. I've got a few lots in the pipeline. Have made five, yes five, teenie tiny lots for the Too Many Sims Too Little Space competition over on the Build A Lot Forum.
I'm also debating whether or not I can enter Crass' latest May S2HBAA competition because this one is to design something with an extensive Asian Garden.
Now, as I like to make my lots available for everyone, I don't use Custom Content in them and there's not that much Asian stuff which works in a garden.
I've had a basic fiddle round and I did do something but it's probably not swanky enough and so I think I shall just upload it as is and people can get it if they want it.
This is my Asian Garden delight
