I think the trouble was the new patch (not the Create a World patch). the new patch + the World Adventures. I think you need that to have the lot installed.

If you'll still have trouble with the house, I suggest you visit the forums. I also don't know why it doesn't work in your system. They will help you and ask you things about your computer and version of Sims 3 you used. I just hope it'll work this time. I would love to know on how the lot will be ingame. Sorry again Sofi for any trouble my lots have caused you.
