Thank you so much for your nice comment on Dunleith Plantation - one of my favorite American houses. I started that project so long ago that it's hard for me to gauge how much time went into it, but (and here I think we have something in common) I know it was most likely too much! Your welcome on the comment, However I am not able to play this house and another one that I found of yours. I am not sure why its not putting it into my game. It will go through the steps to save it into my computer then when I go to acutally put it into my game it will let me. When I get into my game I go through all the entry stuff and get to my city and I go under houses and poof the two that I downloaded from your houses are not in my houses. Do you have any suggestions on what I might be able to do. Thank you again for taking the time to read this. Keep up the great work, hopefully I will be able to play them if I can figure out what is going on.

Good morning, you my hero of the roofs! $\;\)$ Tell you - your houses are all together somewhat cozy - though spacious you feel comfortable there! I love to look at those very modern houses with a piece of furniture on every 20 m² - but I wouldn't like to live in those - I would feel lost ... Your houses - even if modern - don't give the feeling to be lost. I'm looking forward to seeing your Cape Cod house! $\:wub\:$

Dear John, just dropping in to thank your for your reply. I had to laugh when I read what you said about editing. $\:D$ Stop that! Your houses are perfect! Now I know where I have to place them I took a closer look - they are so perfect! I enjoyed going around and watch every single angle - it's amazing to sit down and discover all the tiny finess and the details that make them perfect. They look gorgeous, of course, but at the same time they look "simple" - that's art! Good decision to change Bark Place so it can be used on a "normal" lot. It's too beautiful to have for one lot only. But I love it at 180 Write Way. And the same for Eclipse ... Have a wonderful day! $\:wub\:$

Thanks, John. I'll have to look into that one, I'm sure I'd like it. I'm in college for advertising, and while playing/designing Sims isn't exactly in my area of work, I like to keep my creativity going with playing Sims (not to mention it's just fun!) and building lots has been my favorite for years. I started playing on the PS2, where building is very limited. I only bought Sims 2 a year ago, and Sims 3 I bought the day it came out for the simple love of it -- however, two weeks ago I stumbled on this site, downloaded some works, and decided to upload a home I'd played since Day One of Sims 3. Before I got around to uploading it (Maine Street Blvd), though, I uploaded an UF that I was already working on, just to see how it went. Granted, I'm nowhere near your skill level (bravo on all your works!), I'm happy that a few people liked it enough to let their Sims have a go. Thanks for sharing your marvelous works, you truly are a perfectionist and great artist.

I'm just dropping in to tell you that you're no longer "Marauder" to me. Nor "dear John". After having seen your Colorado you're my "Hero of the Roofs" ! Yes! *noddingemphatically* I had some tries myself with that ceiling at the attic because I'm longing for that look so badly. But I'm still totally dull about adding the roofs - and doing the roofs first and then doing the cfe work is screwing up my houses in a way I just bulldoze everything and leave the pc swearing that I neverever will try that thing again ... So have a wonderful day, my hero, and lots of wood waiting to be burned so can go on with your gorgeous building! $\:wub\:$

"I don't know it if would be of any use though when submitting ..." - well, that's it! I had three really nice little houses which work perfectly for me. I tested them in a vanilla game and it was like pescado says: if you put them the wrong direction (and this can easily happen, because there are lots that not only north-south or east-west, but north-east to south-west, so it's really tricky) they don't work. So I won't upload these lots. But I'm not the person who says: "Well, let's build something to upload." I was building and having fun and then thought: "Maybe another would like it, too." But I'm glad now I know why the stairs sometimes work and sometimes won't. (But I can't get over that EA did such a bad glitch. And if even pescado has no clue about a solution I can forget it!) - Didn't want to be pushy though to write that link into your guestbook. Thought that wouldn't be the kind of site TSR would like to have linked at in the Forum and had in mind that you had issues with the stairs, too. (It was about 5:30 am this time and I was rather tired.) - I'm still waiting to see your sundance uploaded. If there will be free items some time you can reupload it for free again ...
