There are 2 stoves. The design is the same but they have different placements. One is to be placed on the wall, and the other off the wall, in the middle of the room.

For the oven, we decided to make it functional instead of decor only. It acts like a regular stove. Your sims can cook, but it will look weird. So, make sure you'll only ask them to bake when using this ;)
