Love this for my impoverished sims, but it really needs an update. Objects aren't functioning properly

I absolutely adore this collection, but for some reason, some of the objects aren't working. like in build mode, I place it, and then it disappears. it's still "technically" there, so when I press undo, it deletes it and I get the $ back, but I still can't see it.
