I started this lot with just the garage as a living space for a single guy who is trying to make a living as an architect. Needless to say I just added on to it when the garage was ready.
It has just one bathroom. Too bad... so sad... Maybe one of the bedrooms can be turned into another bathroom although I think one bathroom is enough. One of the bedrooms could also be made into a utility room, you know... washing machine etc. My sim is not bothered with stuff like that. He will go to the laundromat to get his skivvies washed.
This is also an in home office. My sim is an architect and his office is upstairs. There is a separate entrance.

I did not use any stuff packs. The lot will work on larger plots of land. basically, you will be able to add more to it! Built in Twinbrook on a flat lot. I have all EP's and SP's installed (except Katie Perry Stuff).
