With all the madness of the launch of TSR v7, I've decided to hold off for a bit before releasing the Shop Set add-ons. But I have to say I'm VERY happy with how they worked out. I'm trying to make items that have as much flexibility of use as possible, without your needing a million individual items.
So in the meantime I'm going to try my hand at making the dresses on the rack into ones for your Sims to wear. Making textures for clothing isn't my forte, but I'll give it a try.
Hopefully the bugs will be ironed out soon and I'll have something for you in the next week.

Working on a few more pieces to go with the High Fashion Shop Set before I move on to other things. I think this will be a small set: another clothes rack, shelving for rack, and new clutter object.
I wanted to try my hand again at making a better mesh for the clothing on the rack and am fairly happy with what I've come up with. It needs to be sized bigger and the texture needs work still.
I might even try to make those dresses for Sims to wear, but not making any promises ;-)

At least it will be if I get these cards finished, lol. Currently working on a set of vintage holiday cards that can be placed on shelves and fireplace mantles as well as the usual surfaces.
There will be five new meshes in total. Not sure if I'll get to recolors because I also want to do some for hanging on walls on ribbon.

Yes I'm still here. I'm working on a clothing shop set that is proving to require quite a bit of work. I now know why so few people have tackled making clothes racks, lol.
Anyways, this is what I have done so far; clothes rack, shelf to go over the clothes rack plus 4 recolors, sweater clutter to place on the clothes rack shelf plus 5 recolors.
Still to do; matching changing room, high shelving unit, low shelving unit, and at least one more clutter object.
Oh! And several people have asked if I can make my Subway Lighting Set compatible for use with AL ceilings. I haven't forgotten. I will do that! Just a matter of when, lol

I'm turning into a blogging fool. But maybe it will make me finish this room sooner rather than later, lol. Getting closer though...
Done: desk, chair, bookcase, shelf, pole/column for shelf, 2 CD clutter, wall art, lighting
Still to do: 1 more clutter object, plant of some sort
Possible other items time allowing: side table maybe, recolor of computer maybe, radio maybe (if I can figure out how to make it placeable on the shelving), printer/scanner deco maybe, curtains maybe (if I can figure out if they can be made height adjustable like shelving/wall art that would be awesome!)
And, yeah. That's gonna keep me busy, lol

Change of plans maybe? I'm thinking, with the new shelving, I might try making full Room Sets as I have never done that before? I've already made a matching desk for the first shelving units and am tinkering with some CD clutter to put on them.
So for a study I will need to make a chair, bookcase, wall art, and lighting for sure. Then if this goes well maybe I'll do the same for the other two shelving units I had planned, only for dining and living rooms.

I seem to have a thing for shelving at the moment. My current project is another set of shelves for AP that is meant to be combined with the addition of a column/pole.
I want to make three styles, so because I put extra effort into my wood textures this will probably be out some time next week.

So I decided to play around with the adjustable shelves from AP last night to see if I could get them to work with the half wall I made, and it turned out quite well I think!
They sit on top of the half wall and also fit nicely between the room transitions.
Okay I'm off to make the recolors, previews, and hopefully upload later today, ciao!

My next set of objects are once again very simple and clean lined. I've always wanted a half wall without any railing or decoration on the top, just plain and flat. And after much raising and lowering I got it sitting right.
So yes, you are looking at the half wall in this capture, lol. The mesh has a white top. I will be making black and grey for sure as well.
Why lookie here! It looks quite nice with a white Room Divider placed at the end!
I have also made a skin to place at the end of half walls to give it a finished look.
I think you will be able to come up with some fun room schemes depending on how you place these items together.
ta!

Nah. It's just that when I put time and effort into building a lot I want it to be FREAKIN' PERFECT! lol
So my first pet peeve was the floor edges. Fixed. Done. Next thing than kinda always bugged me was the transition from one wallpaper to the next, especially if they have a pattern.
It just doesn't look
finished to me. Icky boo!
So I am making some Room Transitions. Another really simple object that gives a finishing touch to open-plan lots.
Much better. Yay! lol
Looks good on the outside too for using different siding.
So far I have two shiny metallic and four wood and a blue glowing one just for the fun of it. ;)
