This item contains two slots - one on each end - so that the individual segments will snap together into one large beam.

Start placing the beam segments along the ground (MUST be on the ground - they will not snap together if they are in the air) for the full desired length of where you want the beam. Start at one end, and go in one consistent direction. The first piece you placed should be at either end of the beam, not somewhere in the middle.

Once the segments have been placed, you can pick up the FIRST segment you placed, and the rest of the beam will go with it as one object.

You can then place the beam into the wall bracket as desired. The bracket has 3 slots - you may need to press "m" to move it from slot to slot to find the correct one, and also you may need to use the < and > keys to rotate the beam so that it is facing the correct direction. You can then place another bracket at the other end of the beam as desired to complete the look.

(The beam itself is hollow and make look strange if the ends are exposed outside of the bracket.)
