can someone help me im new to this an I have the sims 3 so if I wanted to download houses that means there shouldn't be any expansion packs right.? an how come some of the furniture I downloaded didn't show up on my game.? =( please help.!

I wish sims 3 and 2 were real life. so then I could live in that home and find a data base thingy where I get to get money and be rich!!! wait I think that's why sims isn't in real life. xD nevermind about that. xDD lol pretty home \:\)
