Nicole is a vibrant and beautiful young woman, yet she doesn't believe this no matter who tells her this. After being told she'd never amount to anything over and over again by her father and her teachers, it really sank her spirit. She never knew her Mom because Dad's family took her Nicole far away from her soon after she was born. They all had big money and took Nicole just for spite, because who would take her only to put her down, and they always reminded her that she will never truly be a Milbee. So Nicole did the only thing she could and packed some clothes and necessities and ran away at just 16.

She had saved what she could hide away for the last 5 years, so she had §2063 simoleons. She bought a bus ticket from Del Sol Valley to where she thought she came from which was Willow Creek, hoping to find any clues as to where her Mom is. She left behind decent grades in school, so she did all she could to find a decent job to enable her to return to school and get a diploma. After about a year, she found someone who knew her Mom well and told her where she could find her, so she packed up and moved to Windenburg to find her Mom. Her mom lived in a small 2 bedroom apartment and painted and crafted items to sell for a living, but she was happy doing so. Of course her Mom was in total shock meeting her almost 18yr old daughter, but she cried happy tears that even though they missed all those years, they had plenty of time now to get to know one another again.
Nicole really wants to get her diploma and prove to all those who put her down, that she will make something of herself, but she wants to decide that in university.
