It's okay. Don't fret. Lolita dreads definately needs the mesh. I see you have to go to another site to get it. Unfortunately a lot of people create things from meshes you have to pay for. www.modthesims2.com is a free site and there are a lot of cool meshes there. You could always check it out. erin

Nevermind the folder in a folder. First you have to make sure you have the mesh. If you do not have the mesh your recolor won't work. Send me a link or two of objects/hair that you downloaded that aren't working properly. I'm quite sure you are missing the mesh. erin

Oh, that's easy! You aren't downloading the meshes to the recolors! Or you might be downloading recolors for hairstyles/ clothing that you don't have the EPs for. There are several kinds of files, recolors and meshes. For a mesh to work you have to have at least one recolor for it. For a recolor of the mesh to work you must have the mesh (or you will only see the simple long black hair or PJs). To help me keep track, I make folder inside my downloads folder where I group the mesh with its recolors. I name the folder the mesh name. Does this help? erin
