The Log House was often the first home of the early settlers of Upper Canada and the first priority along with clearing the bush and planting the first crops. This classic home was built in the Georgian style with a central hearth using rustic materials. Living, cooking and dining were done in one large room. A small master B.R. is downstairs with 2 small bedrooms tucked under the eaves. The ell at the back contains the privy and pantry with access to the garden brimming with fruit, vegetable and herbs. This lot is based on a house that is now located at Upper Canada Village, but has been equipped with the basic modern amenities for your pioneering Sim. The first in my Historic Canada Series.
