Poetry in the Making
I had a lot of fun making the Edgar Allan Poe poem Annabel Lee. It was almost like a movie set directing the actors to sit a certain way or face a certain direction. It took about 3 days of painstaking editing, going back and forth between the game and photoshop. I wanted each scene to be perfect and to capture the mood of its respective verse.
I've loved this poem for as long as I can remember-it's always been my favorite and Poe has always held a special place in my heart. I was born a writer and have been writing before I could talk. I love to create stories and have about 2 dozen unfinished novels on my laptop. For me, Sims is a way to visualize what goes on in my head. I'm notorious for drafting storyboards in class and writing late at night by the light of a flickering candle.
I'm also a huge details fan and love to take my time with each piece. It's the same way when I throw pottery. I labored over each photo checking the lighting and the objects in each frame. It's a work of love - I hope you like it =)
I'm also thinking of creating a behind-the-scenes story clip to show the lives of my wonderful actors. They were so natural and I fell in love with the seaside cottage the set centered around. We'll see where imagination takes me.
My Sims 2 Worlds
Just a quick blog entry about the worlds I prefer to create. I'm mostly into Cashcraft's meshes and Victorian story lines. I also delve a little into historical fiction and fantasy. I've created an elf family, several Egyptian families, a Victorian boarding school, goths, Chinese aristocrats from the Tang dynasty, and crafted a story reminicent of Coppelia, one of my favorite ballets. I have one or two Vampire covens and created Vince and Howard from The Mighty Boosh, my new top fav. series.
I always like to emphasize gardens and create tons of community garden lots. It's my favorite custom content to upload. I love watching Victorian women out on a Sunday stroll amongst box hedges and carefully trained arbors.
What's next? Hm...not sure about that one. I love the idea of creating unique stories but I also want to make lasting families who enhance the community.

- Maybe I could do a ballet series...I love Swan Lake and Firebird. Depends on custom content
- Victorian street urchin--I'm a big 19th century history buff
- Or maybe a Victorian murder mystery!
- French Revolution? I can't get past the hair but I love Tale of Two Cities
- I'm definitely interested in creating a Roman family
- Count of Monte Cristo anyone?
- I wonder if anyone's created Sherlock Holmes content...
- Or maybe create characters from stories I've written? That would be neat to see how they interact.
