I have a LOT of black sims, you can go and take a look at any of them. I know exactly how to put color in, and I have looked through too many pictures of the discussed celebrity to be totally confident about my choice, so please, do not accuse me of whitewashing. You can always inspect the pictures on your own and I already gave you some examples(also can add the two-color hair look to the list).

If you need to make sure about it, you can always check with some pictures, like that met gala pink dress look, or the meme "Did I lie" video, or the pics included in previews. Or change your monitor, it's showing u colors incorrectly, apparently.
