Hi, thank you for commenting. A mesh is the basic shape of the item. Since what you were downloading didn't show up, you either didn't extract the items properly or download the mesh or both. Here I'll tell you how to extract. First, you'll need a file extraction program such as winRAR or 7zip. Then you'll need to extract the files to your Downloads folder inside your The Sims 2 folder with your chosen program. If you don't have a Downloads folder there, you'll need to create one.
