Created for: The Sims 3

This is the home of Anne Elliot in the 1995 movie Persuasion (novel by Jane Austen), based on Barnlsey Park in England. The first floor includes a grand entry hall, study, music room, library, drawing room, bathroom and dining room. The kitchen is located in the basement. The second floor has up to five bedrooms, including the master suite, and a family bathroom. The third floor has up to six bedrooms, two with bathrooms ensuite, and a family bathroom. I made one room on this floor into an art studio. Each room has a custom sized rug which I made from carpet tiles. The house is mostly furnished, though I did leave some rooms on the third floor empty so you can fill them with whatever you wish. We certainly don't need eleven bedrooms! Outside is a two car garage and a little building which can be used for a summer house or a green house.

I am very pleased with the inside layout of the house and how everything came together. The rooms are all large and play nicely. I had a few pictures of the actual house to work from, so I tried to incorporate as many of the real rooms and features of the house into my design as possible. I hope you like it!

The corner columns from the Sims store are also purely decorative, and are used only to cover up the 2 story columns which show through on the inside of the house. ( I didn't like the way it looked).
