This adorable, old-fashioned cottage features a roomy entryway, three bedrooms, a kitchen with dining, a larder, one outside bathroom, plus a vegetable garden, an orchard, a fishing place and a cellar mock. There is no living room, no computer or TV set. In the past a country family gathered around a table in a kitchen and built connection. The lot was tested in the game.

You are right, it's a bit of a challenge. Playing with it, I realized it's an old-style house where the kitchen is the center of the home, like in many old homes. With no living room and no house filled with toys, I discovered my sims like to sit around the table and chat. I added an old TV to the kitchen in the corner, which seems to fit somehow.

It's cute and full of personality. I hope you didn't think I was criticizing. I'm still using it and had to spent 40 minutes fixing a missing floor issue so I think this means I like it $\:\)$

Dear Angeline, thank you so much for your comment $\:\)$ At my Granny's is an old Polish house ... life was difficult then: an outside toilet, a bath in a barrel, and a cramped attic for children ...I made some changes so it is not so unplayable $\:\)$
