This modernised crofter's cottage comes with all that your Sim family needs for self-sufficient living, but still retains the country comforts of it's origins. It is a single storey, stone construction with a thatched roof ; it has 2 bedrooms, a single bathroom, farmhouse kitchen, separate diningroom and a charming livingroom with fireplace and TV.
Outbuildings include milking shed/shelter, dairy, with refrigeration and sterilisation facilities and a chicken run - with laying hens and a new hatch of chicks. The henhouse comes complete with nesting boxes and roost. There is a fine orchard with cherry and apple trees, a well tended vegetable garden with reticulated water - and a potato patch that could bring in some extra cash income if required. Two dairy cows have the run of the home pasture, with access to the milking shed in bad weather. A sturdy pickup truck stands ready to deal with any transport chores that may arise.
Crofter's Cottage was built on and for the 30x40 lot at 27 Herring Ranch Road, Twinbrook . . but will happily relocate to any flat lot of adequate size.

Crofter's Cottage is a marcorse original work. It is base game compatible, but - for this to happen - you must have a fully patched game.
You may not re-upload it anywhere, use it as a template to build a lot for upload or claim it as your own work - however, you may do anything you like with it, within your own game LOL.I have all EPs/SPs [up to and including Into the Future] installed on my base-game; my game is fully patched and I have run TSR's Rigfix on all files in this build. If a custom content item requires a specific EP/SP - and you don't have that Expansion/SP installed - the object will be replaced with a similar game default item.
Such instances will not affect installation and play for Crofter's Cottage. .
