Use please the whole set! Only the tree can stand alone, all other objects of this set have no sence without this tree.^^ All objects have a slot for place the next Object, just the lighting has no slot, this was not possible. So you can begin with one of 2 tree tops or with the tree, then take the next decor and place it in/on this tree or top. All decors have underneath a little cube for better placing. Not fear, at the end you can't see it. :) Only the lighting must be the last object that you place, remember, this is without a slot. If you've done everything right, so you can take the tree on the bottom (when you take the tree at first) or on the tree top (when you use this at first) and move it as one object in room. Sometimes it is possible to stay on a lower surface, but not always. Sorry, i don't know, where is the problem. It is complicated and time consuming, so it's better you place it on the floor.
